Healthy Living **Yawn**

So, I have been really excited about this healthy eating and healthy living attitude I have ventured upon.

I have been a little lax the past week, and have eaten far more bread than I should have, and tonight I feel really sick. I was thinking about it. "This is crazy!" I thought to myself as I am writing and posting some things for my dad on "Self Development Growth and Change" blog I have set up for my dad.
Well, I have been so good and why the sudden lax? Excuses::

The Long Rock is Home for a couple of weeks
I don't cook myself and I have been from time to time been told, "You're not eating you're not eating"

I've decided to put my food down while I was eating salad tonight.

First:
Who cares who is home? I have to do my exercizing regardless of Long Rock joining me.

Second:
Long Rock Loves Running and we we went to the Park, While he ran I worked out on the machines they have there.

Third:
Eating Right is not going to be supported by anyone but me. I will have to be strong, cowgirl up and eat what is right for me because I am benefitting and I know when I am hungry or not and I don't need anyone telling me how much or how little I have eaten if I am healthy and not starving myself!

Conclusion
NO MORE EXCUSES, Miss Soon To Be Mrs Long Rock!!!

Let me tell you in all honesty and open-ness what I have eaten this past week... I know YAWN!

Salad.
Every Breakfast here in Turkey consists of
Olives (black and or green)
Cucumbers
Peppers
Cheese
Bread
Tomatoes
Khavaltalık
 Turkish Tea
Or Ihlamur Tea

Sometimes it varies, but the olives and a type of salad is the same. The bread changes too. Sometimes it is what we Americans call French bread. Sometimes is stuffed phyllo dough, then fried. Sometimes it is different types of stuffed rolls, etc. But it remains the same. Bread.
This is ok to have one slice, but I have arthitis which really effects me in the morning.

I have axed out the bread.

For Lunch: I still cant eat lunch so I have reverted to if I am hungry, I will eat either an apple, a few carrot sticks, some parsely, a mug of coffee or tea, and lots of water.

Dinner:
I am not a strict vegetarian because of my kidney. I can not have too much or too less of the proteins. There are some things that in the winter only animal meat gives your body what helps you live... Lets face it, we have to eat right.

I have eaten,
Soups
Salads
no bread
Fried Squash or Zucchini that I made from Scratch.
Fried Onions that I made from scratch.
a little piece of chicken. I am talking a little
four bites of beef sish kebob

Not all at one sitting and every meal I have eaten salad.

For night snack I have been bad. I have said several tlimes I dont eat after 8 pm and I am looked upon like I have three eyeballs. But I have had an all fruit smoothie I made myself
apples, kiwi fruit, almonds or strawberries.

I have been drinking Turnip Juice called "shalgam" and it is really good for you. I might have to write about once or twice.

I have noticed my legs are slimmed and I am working hard on my abs. They are slowly going down.

I have decided this.
That change is my choice. That eating healthy is my decision and that living healthy is the better way to be and I cant make any excuses for myself! I just cant!

I will be on later, of course to check in!
Until then::: Happy Living Healthy everyone!!!

Another Update On:::

YAY!!! I am so happy! I am doing the Happy Dance!!

I have been really working hard to be healthy. I am not calling it a diet because I automatically think oh heck! Restrictions! So I call it a Healthy Living Change. (but yeah, it is somewhat a diet)

Let me tell you what I have been doing.
I have been doing Hula, for about 40 minutes a day.
I have been eating vegetables (salads) and a little fruit.
No Bread (cheated twice)
No Sugars (cheated three times)
Amped up the water. Normally I drink 3 liters of water a day. Ideally I am supposed to drink about a gallon a day because I have one kidney. I because it is really humid here and I have been exercising, I decided to drink more water, because I am not about to get dehydrated and want to watch my kidney function. (so, I amped up my water intake about 4-5 liters)
I did this now for two weeks. I am talking a good work out and I have missed three days of working out in the two weeks.
Result? 7.5 pounds! Yes, you read that right!!!

I am so excited.. It feels great and I am continuing doing this regement I have going, because it is working for me.
Not only am I more healthy, I am also getting more engery, eating less and I feel great.

What kind of things are you doing to get into your summer body?
Share with me your ideas!

Here's to Healthy Living!

Another Yet Again Facebook Detox::: 5th Time Now

Maybe this is turning into a joke?
I have still decided to go on Facebook from time to time to do things like "Look" for certain family members because they refuse to learn how to email (it is driving me crazy... I know huh?!?!) So, I have been hearing some rumors about certain big wigs up at the top iin Facebook.
Things like: They are going to start charging you for messaging on Facebook, well they have started this when you message a non friend, you can start charging you (Doesn't that make you want to just call that person and forgo any internet? Me too!)
Then they apparently hardly pay taxes.
wait messed up?? Heck yeah!!!
There is a list of reasons why I don't want to be on Facebook.

But as I said I have certain family members that it is the only way to keep in touch with them, and no other way. For now.
When I move back to the USA with Long Rock, that will change.
I will be able to call and text message and Facebook will be an occasional go on to see those distant friends of mine.
I do have some "Friends" that I thought were real friends face to face, however, have deleted me on Facebook and I have no email in which to get ahold of them. Too bad there is no Notice for "So and So has Deleted you on as a Friend"... I would totally click the like button for that.

Well, I have decided to write some pointers to help you Detox in a way that is reasonable for you

Start off Slow
Wean yourself to that you can be successful in getting off Facebook.
Those friends you really care about, email them.Email a group of them and say, I have decided to be on here less but I would like to stay in touch with you. Can you please send me your email?
Keep their email and start emailing those friends from time to time. You will find those friends you have emails to are the ones you want to keep anyway. The others will not matter anymore

Start "Unliking" things that you have liked in the past. Those things are trashy anyway! In all honesty, they are mostly spammers and people that have nothingt o do with the company or people that you "like" and are merely fans. You don't want those in your life anyway.

Stop responding to everything in your news feed.
For every time you like something or everytime you make a comment in your friends status, you are giving yourself the "I have to see if they saw it" or the "I have to see who said what on the conversation" Now, really, who cares what you said or what they said?
I have noticed a more of unruly aggression online and people are in your face flat out rude. But face to face they would never be that way.

This is dangerous. And it causes Drama. Do you really have so much time on your hands that you really have to see how many people liked what you said or how many people liked your picture? Grow up! Get a Life!

Next

Anyone you don't know in person, never friend them on Facebook. Why do you do that? What is so important about you or that person that you have to have so many friends on Facebook but you don't even know them face to face? Who are they? Most likely they are spammers, fake people with fake names, liar, etc etc etc.. You want those people in your living room???

Then

Turn off the dang computer and do things with your family!
Need I say more? Your relationship with your family, your spouce, your loved one is far more important than anything you can read on Facebook. You know that!

Now!
Turn off my blog and go have a nice evening with your family!

Peace Guys!
