Another Skyrim Post?

I don't watch the news, and I don't watch Television. But, I keep up on the news. And one of the things I keep up on is Gaming News. Gaming News is important. (Well, for me)
I don't have a DVD drive in my laptop. And i have been lazy, because I have not gotten the other Elder Scrolls Games. (Skyrim is Number 5, for those of you who don't know.)
So, I have always wanted to play the Elder Scrolls games, the ones before Skyrim... They take place in a fictional world named Nirn, and the continent of Tamriel. The first, The Elder Scrolls: Arena, was released in 1994. It was first intended to have players assume the role of an arena combatant, however, the development shifted into a Role Playing Game.
The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall came out in 1996, and was one of the first 3D worlds on a larger scale, in the game, the world was as large as Great Britain.
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind came out in 2002, with individually detailed landscapes, and a smaller game as the other two, but sold over 5 million games by 2005.  There were two expansions that were sold for Morrowind, one called Tribunal and the other, Bloodmoon.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion started getting developed in 2002, and became more improved in the interaction and making the game world something that had never been seen before. The focus was on artifical intelligence, and making the player believe they were in the world they were playing. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion came out in 2006, and was successfully by critics and consumers alike. Oblivion came out with expansion packs, Knights of Nine and Shivering Isles.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is the game I absolutely love, and play often, which came out on 11-11-2011. It takes places 200 years after the storyline of Oblivion (which is why I want to play the other games!) Skyrim got three expansion packs, Dawnguard, Hearthfire, And Dragonborn.
ZeniMax Online Studios and Bethesda Studios came together and made ESO (Elder Scrolls Online) which is a Massively Multiplayer Role Playing Video Game, which is actually A-Mazing. This came out in April 2015. Gamers can play all of Tamriel, and the game was in development for 5 years before it was actually released.
So, now, There are rumors that Elders Scrolls VI will come out. Do we know when? No. Everything is on the DL, And I mean... Really hushed. I think because of the release of ESO was so highly anticipated and yet, it took so long before anyone got to play, that this time there is more of a hush hush to TES VI. And, I think, it is rightfully so. As much as I am excited about the next TES fan, I do believe that they have to keep this under wraps until the details (like the release date, story line, etc etc) is full into play. It would be a dream of mine to be a voice actress for TES... But me and a million other people!) I was honored to be a BETA tester for ESO, and while my tests were sadly, what many other testers experienced, I couldn't play because of the servers crashing. But, that hasn't deterred me from being the absolute lover of anything TES.
I am excited, because Bethesda has come out with Tamriel Unlimited, on PS4, and there are rumors that later this Summer of 2017, TES V will have a PS4 format, making the game playable on PS4, making me actually want one. They will have what is called The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition. From what I have read, making it on PS4 has been well worth buying it for fellow TES fans. I hear that playing on the PC and playing on XBox has been compressed and suffered with the audio. But, PS4 is better. Way better. I will definitely play it, check it out and post all about it.
To all you Skyrim Fans, I will quote a Khajiit, "Blessings of the moons upon you, traveler."

Taber Cats, Dragons, and Bears, OH MY!

So, I have to tell somewhat of a story and give you a back ground on this topic.
 (No, not a movie)
All of my life I have had this thing... It is not a bad one, just a trait of mine that once I start something I have to do it well. I get really freaked out in my mind if it is not the way I like it or if I think it should be better. I guess it is a borderline O.C.D. thing, I don't know. I have always tried to realize it is me and not some out side influence, and I do everything I can to keep it in so that people around me are not effected.
With that said, I have said before that I am, or I feel I am not a very good Game Consul Player because I have to win and I have to be good at it and in reality, Game Consul Games are harder to me than real board games.

With that all said, I have developed a somewhat addiction for a PS3 Game. Yes, you read correctly. This is an epic one. Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

So, imagine going into a Game Consul and when you turn on the game for the very first time, you think you are watching a movie, and even I would go as far as say that the graphics are that you think at first you are watching a movie like "Dinosaurs" where there are real pictures and computer animated to look real people and animals and creatures, however, everything is computer animated, but looks real. So real in fact, I get scared to play. I am literally scared. Long Rock LOVES Scary Movies. This does not scare him, and so I imagine many of people that likes watching scary movies will not think this is scary.

The story line starts off with your Character heading to the chopping block in the city of Helgen, in the vast land of Skyrim, where you are being punished for Treason. While in Helgen, a dragon, which later you find out has the name of "Alduin" attacks the city and kills everyone in the city, including the people that had captured you.
Before you get to the chopping block, you are required to give yourself a name, a race and you will pick through limited hair options, but you will pick your race, which comes with special race perks, or special triats.
  •  Altmer: They are Highborn Elves, and Regenerate Magic Quick. Very Tall Race
  • Argonian: They are Lizard Looking, have Underwater skills and are resistant to poison. They can only marry other Argonians and instead of wearing the Amulet of Mara to want to marry, the Argonian has to make a ring for the one they intend to marry, and the ring has special meanings to the different Argonian wearing and making it. (There is only one female marry-able Argonian in Skyrim. She lives in Windhelm)
  • Bosmer: They are Wood Elves. They can command Animals and are known for their Archery Skills. They are good Stealth Warriors. They are resistant to Poison.
  •  Breton: Half Elf and Half Human, Bretons resist magic, have what is called "Dragon skin" meaning they can resist hostile magic spells for 60 seconds. They are highly intelligent and have many special perks if a player chooses this Skyrim Minority Race. They can have great Magic and Combat skills, but there is a bug, and Conjuration Spells sometimes fail when a player has a Character that is a Breton.
  • Dunmer: Otherwise known as Dark Elves. They are also a Minority of Skyrim and treated slightly better than Argonians, who are sequestered to only the Docks of Skyrim. Dunmer came to Skyrim after a huge Volcano erupted and they lost all their homes. They are resistant to Magic up to 50% and they have "Ancestor's Wrath" Perk. What it does is engulfs the castor in Flames of Fire for 8 seconds and gives damage to the enemy, leaving them weak with stamina, and health. For a normal Non-Player in Skyrim that is not hostile it will kill them in a couple of seconds.
  •   Imperial: They are slightly darker Human- Type race that have strong features, a sharp jaw line, deep set eyes. They have incredible speech skills and they seem to find gold and extra money everywhere they go. They have the perk of being able to calm enemies for 60 seconds. Essential Characters the player will interact with will identify them with Latin or Italian names, such as Viloa Giordano.
  • Khajiit: This race in Skyrim are Cat Like. They Look like Bobcats that walk upright. They are very very fast. 50% faster than any other race in Skyrim, a more quiet, do not have to use weapons as they have claws when attacking (such as a cougar) and make excellent Assassins. They have night vision, have thick fur like a cougar, or bobcat, and are enemies with the Argonian. They can not marry in Skyrim, so if you want the Marriage Perk, being a Khajiit would not be an option.
  •  Nord: Are humans that are fair skinned and have a 50% resistant to Cold and Magic Frost. They are Warriors and very strong. They are excellent combatants and have known skills in the two hand and one hand weaponry. They have a battle cry as another inherited perk. This makes the enemy run and scare for 30 seconds in Battle.  They usually bare Nordic or Scandinavian names, such as Rolf, Sven, Rorick, etc etc.
  • Orismer: This race in Skyrim are also known as Orc. These are Barbarian people that are the best Warriors if you want Stealth, Strength and Pure Iron Muscle. They Love fighting battles and are perfect in Combats. There is a saying in Skyrim, "No one beats an Orc". And it is a tough battle if you go up against one. Orcs are in the Elven Family, as a matter of fact, but that has not stopped them from being pure combat worthy. and being they are Elves, they still have magic as a perk, and so they are perfect to play as.
  • Redguard: These humans are from the land of Hammerfell and have dark skin and dark hair and dark eyes. They are excellent in Light Weaponry, and fast, with an incredible stamina and resistant to magic.
  • Vampirism: Humans, Mers, and Beast can contract this Disease which has perks and consequences to those perks. The perks are 100% resistant to diseases, Invisibility, re-animate a dead strong body to help fight for 60 seconds, night vision for 180 seconds for one day, but interacting with anyone will make the invisibility null. However, the drawbacks to Vampirism in Skyrim is that Character has 100% weakness to Frost, Sun, and Fire. Being attacked by a Vampire can cause Vampirism and the character can be cured within three days or the Vampire Disease is onset and the only way to rid of it is to obtain a Black Gem Stone and perform a Ceremony with the help of a Falion. (as explained in the totally awesome Skyrim webpage I use for references: Totally awesome webpage I use to guide me through Skyrim
  • Lycanthropy: Is another disease that can be contracted in Skyrim. Or You can chose to be a Werewolf if you want. If you contract it and become cured, you can not have the option of ever getting it again and if you are cured before finishing the Quest lines that are involved in those Quests, will be unfinished quests. It is wise to really think beforehand what you want to do with your character when contracting or ridding yourself of this disease.
Now, once you choose from the many different races, and chose your name, which by the way once you save that you can not go back and change it. I made the mistake of not noticing I forgot to name my character, so to my dismay I have the name "Prisoner" and I hate my name. I realized it as soon as I pressed save. Oh, when I get letters from different N.P.C.'s or when an Essential Character asks my name, and I have to respond with "Prisoner"... Ugh. I could if I want to go back ad play the entire game to where I am again, but I don't want to.
I think this game is amazing in the sense that you can interact with everything around you. I can make my character swim in a river, get salmon in the river, cook it, I unlock doors and treasure chests, have conversations with people to get my speech skills Once you get through getting out of prison and getting out of Helgen, your adventure is all up to you. You can do any quest you want, you can raid all the caves, and places  you want, and see all the different cities you want. It is really amazing. My addiction was not present until I had been combating and raiding with a one Housecarl I obtained after fighting and killing a dragon, and the Jarl gave her, Lydia to me. Well, Lydia was killed by a dragon and not only killed but when I went to find her, only her ribcage was found, I literally cried. I mean tears rolling down my face. I think it was because I had spent so much time trying to battle this Dragon and get to the level I was at. Well, I realized, I think I have a problem. But, this game captivated me. I mean, It is really amazing.
So, If you want to get into a game that has action, intrigue, adventure, thrill, and an amazing soundtrack with great graphic designs, I suggest this game.

Playing Play Station 3

The Long Rock and I have a Play Station 3 and a Wii.
I would like to give you my opinions on them and why I think you should buy them... Or not.
Let me review the Play Station 3 first.
We got this brand new on sale for the equivalent of 300 $ (600 TL) This is a really good deal here in turkey. as about three days later, the price went up to 950 TL on sale and normally I have seen them not on sale for around 1,200 TL. The reason these games and electronics here in Turkey are so expensive is because they are imported from Japan, or USA and anything that is imported here raises the price by double. The Government puts a taxes on anything bought that is not Turkish.
Why did we chose Play Station 3 over Xbox 360? Well, honestly it was because PlayStation 3 was on sale and we needed a new game consul. I have an Xbox in USA and I do not know how to play it. So, I am not going to be sold on one or the other. Now that I have a PS3, I will tell all my family to get it because ı want to be able to play with them online and talk to them and I can do it that way. There are advantages and disadvantages to an Xbox and PlayStation 3. I hear the games are cheaper for an Xbox. But, we have been able to find used games and new games online for cheaper than 50 TL (about 30 USD) and so I think that that is not bad.
I do not know if I have mentioned before, I am not good at playing said games. I have been known to eat while playing games. (a habit that annoys Long Rock terribly) I kind of see it like watching a movie... Pop Corn, Cola and playing games. He sees it as trying to kill our guys. Note to anyone like me: You can not play NBA 2K11 with one hand. Sorry, It does not work. Note to anyone like The Long Rock:: We are not trying to sabotage your game. We really are trying to eat and play to enjoy the time with you. Do not take our action as bad, just laugh and tell us we are a dork (Thanks Long Rock for not being annoyed with me too long) Also... Be engaging the game because your guy likes that. (just a pointer to all the ladies like me)
  We have 5 games now.
Killzone3:   cool game. The enemy is really scary and I get freaked out. BTW: Ladies, when you play, you start off training as an enemy. Then as the story progresses, you become a human, and in the Military. So, When you train you can not shoot the "bad guys" you shoot the humans. But when you are fighting for real, you kill the bad guys, and I was shooting the guys: Green light coming on... That does not mean... Green, yes for shooting. you will kill your friends.
We are right now stuck in the Jungle, so, I am trying to find out how to get out of the Jungle.

NBA 2K11: This is a cool game. It is hard for me. Killzone I am used to battling out scary guys, not playing basketball with a computer, but it is great graphics, and really awesome voices. It is also funny to hear the sports commentators. They are really from the ESPN channel, and the players look great. I like that they have a Basketball Classics, so you can play John Stockton and Karl Malone, too. That grabbed me. There are just tons and tons of options, and you can play just with your team, or you can do specific practices, I mean, it really is cool.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 I know nothing about Soccer, but the Long Rock loves this game. It even has his favorite, Fenerbahce, playing which makes him like it better. I have played with him several times and I only know that I need to get the ball into his goal and I can not let him get the ball into mine. tee hee hee. I have noticed that the Long Rock has been improving with each time he plays, sadly, I have not. He plays online sometimes with other guys. I have found that most of them are other Turkish Guys. Turkey is huge for Soccer in a crazy way. So, this game is the number one Video Game in Turkey as far as for Sports.
Call of Juarez: So, this game is really cool however, buyer beware. It is only one player, and for you to play with others, you have to go online. The Long Rock did not notice that before he got the game, and so he is a little bummed because he wants to play with me, but that will not happen, unless I am in another home or playing on a different consul and happen to have Call of Juarez with me. The graphics are Good. The accents are Funny. (can Funny be a rating?) This game was created in Australia. Imagine Americans in the Civil War from the Southern States speaking with a slight Australian accent saying "Mate" and "G'Day". That is just funny to me. The other aspects of the game are really cool though. There is a story line about three brothers that I would very much like to follow. It is fun and rather interesting as you go from character to character. This is why The Long Rock was rather puzzled that is was not two player but has multi-player capabilities. We really wish this one were multi-player. It sure would be ore fun for us.

Gran Turismo 5 (The one with the Red Car on the Cover, not the White Car) This game is really cool. We can play and race together or we can race ourselves or we can race online. The possibilities are endless. The cars are cool. You have to start off with a smaller lowly car and work your way to a the top. I like that. I can play play worth beans but, I am learning. You have to get your license for driving before you can play some of the tracks, and in order to get your license you have to do some practice things, like learning to turn corners, stopping correctly, turning, etc. It is really fun and slightly simulates driving. I do not have the control that is a car steering wheel ,I think that would be ore fun for me, but I still quite like this game. The music is great and you can chose from literally hundreds of different type music. That is cool for me too. I washed my car and got an oil change... All in the game. I like that too. You can play many different ways and you can play online, which, ,s good for those like me who live far from family.

The Wii.
This is the greatest invention known in the Game industry right now known to man. I say this because there are not a lot of things that an entire family can play together and have a total blast, using Game Consul, however, the Wii is the exception to that rule. It is easy to learn, can get you moving, can include tiny kids and great grandparents... It is literally for all ages. ALL ages.
We bought ours used, but it is practically new. This Wii came with a whole bunch of games, and we really like the ones it came with.We have since played Residence Evil, ABBA Dance, There is Wii Classic and Wii Resort, and we both like the games. My favorite game is the Cabela's Hunt, and I am pretty good at it. I have won all kinds of Trophies on it. The Long Rock kills me on every game, and so I am happy there is one I am pretty decent at. Our favorite to play together is the sword fighting game. It is really fun and we laugh a lot on that one. Long Rock's mom is really good on the Bowling Game, and I have made several Mi's so that all our family can play with us. needless to say we have a lot of fun on the Wii together. If you do not want to play with other people, then the Wii is not the game consul for you. Like wise If you are not into movement, then you need not get this game consul. If you are totally into graphics, then this game is not for you and you need to know that you can play games with great graphics on this, but some games are just more fun on the PS3 and some games are more fun on the Wii.
If you want action and 3D quality, the PS3 is the way to go. If you want movement, do not think of getting PS3 with move. It is just not as good and honestly, The Wii is not a lot of money if you are buying in the USA. I would consider PS3 for 3D games, high graphics and action games, games that do not require dancing, jumping, moving, if you want to play online with friends, this is great and there are many options to chose from that will allow you to have hand-free sets, and you can talk to your friends or family while you play. I like that feature and I have been trying to get one, but I have other things to pay for right now and will most likely pay for those later.
Well, that is it. Which ever you chose, hit me up a line on here and if you have questions, I will always answer them. For you moms out there that want to know what your kid is doing, I suggest you learn to play and spend time learning a little about the PS3. (or Xbox 360 which ever you have in your home) These companies do everything they can to try to prevent perverts from coming online and playing games with your kids, but you should be very aware of what is happening. Also, I have been online on youtube and there are horror stories of teenager boys playing with their head set and their mom coming in the room and hitting their kids. This is not only illegal, but your kid does not deserve to be sacked around just because he is not cleaning his room. I have seen this a lot on youtube, and those parents that hurt their kids should be thrown in jail. Not cool at all.
  Anyway.. Happy Gaming!

Over Achiever may not be the correct wording:

So, The hunky man in my life, over the last couple of months, bought a PS3 (Playstation 3) and a Wii.
I honestly was not too excited about the idea, because I know myself.
Let me tell you my reasons for not playing nor wanting to play games:
1. I have to win. I know I can not control the people in the game with using buttons. I love pushing buttons but I can not control them...
2. I get too nervous and feel like I am going to panic and I know I am a bad player
3. I have to win and I know I can not with all the buttons
4. If it is an action game, I am scared of the creatures I have to kill

Good enough reasons to not play... I forgot to mention I get really stressed out and If I lose I have to play until I win. But did I mention I get scared of the monsters and creatures I might have to kill?
Pac Man almost sends me to the edge of stress... I hate those little ghosts trying to get my Pac Man. I hate dying.
Well, I always thought I would let Long Rock get games and stuff like that for him and he can play and have fun with it. I don't mind watching.
So, he bought Wii and Play Station 3. He was just goingt o play one or the other or buy one or the other, not both, but I told him if he wants a moving game, Wii and if he wants to play real video type games where there is shooting, like Call of Duty or Metal of Honor, Dude, Play Station or XBox 360 is the only way to go.
He came () <<< This Close>>> to not buying both and we are happy we did.
Problem?
I keep playing that dang Play Station and I get really stressed because I have to win but damn... I suck bad. I am horrible.
It is not because Long Rock will play and we will try to play Basket Bll and I am eating and playing with one hand. (honest that happened) OOOh Long Rock was so annoyed. He was making all htese points and guarding the basket and saying... Jensen, Where are you??? I need you!!! And I am eating with one hand and playing with the other... Going... I don't know. He turns around with the spoon in my moouth... BUSTED... He was so annoyed.
There are two games for NBA Jam... One on the Play Station 3 and one on the Wii. We have the Demo for the NBA Jams on the PS3 and we actually have the full Wii Version.
Ok... Dude... I can't play to save my life.

If Someone would put a gun to my head and tell me to play PS3 and make 50 points in NBA Jam... I would be dead. I would try, but I would be dead.
This is the deal. I did not eat anything the time I played on the Wii with NBA Jam and I was JUST AS BAD.

  Seriously.
I am not proud of it, It is just... something I am annoyed with myself about. I am so good at other things. But Video games, Ok... Bejeweled Blitz... I am great with.
That is just abot it on the games. I have always wanted to play World of War Craft. Always. But I am scared of the bad guys. I hear Doom is freaking scary. I am too scared to even down load it.
So, There you have it. Sad pathetic me not being able to play video games but have them...
I will keep trying to make a few points. Not in NBA Jam though. That one is humiliating
