I have been really having a nice time seeing my family this Summer.
I have been able to see many family members that I normally do not get to see and I have been running into friends in the Grocery Store. It has been really nice.
I went: After being here a week, to the 4th of July Celebrations, July 5th I went to my sisters house. She let Beka go to her Ward Young Women Camp because my sister is the Camp Director this year for her Ward. We dropped off Beka and picked up Darci's son, Golden. Golden is only 10 but is such a wonderful little boy!
We (my mom, dad, Golden, Connor and myself) headed up to Star Valley Wyoming to spend a few days.
The first night we arrived there it was nice. We got there in the early evening
One thing I found? I am car sick going up the canyon. (Weird! Never was before)
The Next day we went hiking and found that intermittent springs is not intermittent. It is really swelled and just gushing.
We then Went 4 Wheeling and had so much fun. The next day was spent being lazy and shooting the breeze around the cabin because It rained most the day, however, we went 4 wheeling on the last day, Friday. We went into Grover Canyon and we ended up going to the mouth of Jensen Canyon, and went shooting and had a picnic.
It was great seeing my ancestors land and my childhood memories spending the summer at the cabin was just wonderful.
Jensen Canyon is not accessible to 4 wheelers and Vehicles because of the road conditions. The only practical way is by foot or horse back.
Golden was in too interested in shooting the .22 Caliber Manuel Revolver , however he was excited to find the bones of a dead animal. We could not find the skull but we found the lower jaw and many teeth, and lost of bones. He was just thrilled to find them.
He was sad however to learn he could not keep them in the house. He was supposed to bring them in the Garage and leave them there.
Connor and I went on a ride on our own. We went to Salt River and watched how swelled it was.
I let Connor ride there too. We rode all over the place but I must say I was holding onto him for dear life and yelling: Mind the Post, Mind the sign, Mind the... (Whatever was 3 blocks ahead of us) Finally he patiently said "I can see them!" I just can not believe he will get his permit in two months.
We then returned to Utah on the Saturday, the 10th.
We went to Ogden, Utah. I stayed there with a friend, her and I have been friends for the last 17 years. She is really having some stress in her life and have some life decisions to make and I hope I have helped her make them.
I then have only a couple days with Shahira and so I am going to go to the Lake tomorrow. We will go to Jordanelle.
More pics and blogs are on the way!
