So, I haven't written in a few days! Wow!!
Time keeps slipping!!!
Well, I've been losing weight and doing a fabulous job at it!
I was average to begin with, I am Six Feet Tall, and I just wanted to get trim and fit for my wedding.
Well, because of safety issues, I really shouldn't be going out running etc alone.
But I found a way to get fit at home and in the comfort of my own place. I like it better.
So, this is what I've been doing
I started out doing Zumba. But, so far the Zumba classes online haven't excited me. So I've been doing Hula as a workout.
You want to work your bum and thighs and hips??? Let me tell you. It's a workout!!
Breakfast? Simple. A Traditional Turkish Breakfast is fantastic!!
Tomatoes
Cucumber
Parsley
Olives
And Cheese.
Of course Ihlamur Tea is another tea on my list. Which reminds me. I better soak the green tea. I need some!!
Lunch I don't really eat, but when I get hungry, I will eat carrots, drink lots of water, olives, an apple or an orange.
I've been known to grab a pepper from the fridge too
Dinner is hard because I don't cook.
But, we eat
Beans
Chick peas
Fresh vegetables
Eggplant
Cauliflower
Fish
Stuffed phyllo
Lentil Soup
Salad
Not all in one go!! Just giving you ideas of what we eat here.
I cut out all sugars but on Easter I did have a piece of Pumpkin Baklava
But, I've been working out really hard. I thought it was a good break
Other changes??
Going to bed at 11:30 and waking up at 6:30am
This one is HARD for me.
This week I did it though. Why? Because Long Rock goes to work from 8am to 8 pm this week. Next week will be a Bear though.
I'm going to have to find a happy medium because he will be on the night shift.
Also
I've been doing crunches. Oooh the burn!!!
Drinking loads more water, too!!
I've got one kidney. Normally I drink 3-4 liters o water a fat but as I've been working out that means I've been sweating and need to replace my water! So, I'm drinking 6-6.5 liters of water a day
Sun
I've got SAD and I'm sitting in the sun at least 30 min a day. It's sunny now and so I can. Before living in USA in the winter I can hop to a tanning bed when I'm feeling blue. I can't here. So, I've been sitting at a window. Well now that the sun is out its balcony time for me.
And one more thing
Meditation- Prayer.
I've been doing that too. I want to be fit in all aspects of my life. Not just my physic and its helping me.
Total weight loss this week?
4 pounds.
I'm stocked!!
Honeymoon here I come!!

ReplyDeleteAww, thanks, Erin!! I've been working super hard. And it's been kicking my butt but I'm determined to be healthy. I'm not going to be crazy but I do want to be healthy. If you want I can check in on you. I have to or I fall off the bandwagon. Especially right now might be my cycle time. I'm dying for chocolate.
